Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of the AssetSnip Chrome extension, web application, and all related services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AssetSnip web application, Chrome extension, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. AssetSnip is a product developed and maintained by Studio1 (STUDI01HQ PRIVATE LIMITED). If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use AssetSnip.
2. Description of Service
AssetSnip provides a Chrome extension and companion web application for extracting, organizing, and exporting design assets from websites. This includes images, SVGs, videos, colors, fonts, CSS gradients, and Lottie animations. The web application also offers an AI-powered SVG generation and vectorization tool, a cloud library for saved assets, and export features for CSS, HTML, Tailwind, and React-style code.
3. Account Registration and Security
To use AssetSnip, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. Authentication is available through email or Google OAuth. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@assetsnip.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use AssetSnip only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the service to extract copyrighted material without proper authorization from the rights holder, generate unlawful, harmful, or infringing content through AI features, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the service, abuse rate limits, automate access beyond normal extension usage, or interfere with the operation or security of the service.
5. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the AssetSnip service, including its software, branding, design, and documentation, are owned by Studio1 (STUDI01HQ PRIVATE LIMITED). You retain ownership of content you legally obtain and store in your library. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve AssetSnip.
6. AI-Generated Content
AI features in AssetSnip generate SVG icons from text prompts or vectorize uploaded images. AI-generated outputs are provided on an as-is basis. You are responsible for reviewing generated content and ensuring it does not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights. AI usage is metered according to your subscription plan, and unused credits do not roll over between billing periods.
7. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) and renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. All fees are charged through our payment provider and are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Your use of AI generations, asset storage, downloads, and exports is subject to the limits of your active subscription tier. Plan details and current pricing are available on our website.
8. Free Plan Limitations
The free plan includes limited monthly downloads, saved items, and restricted access to certain features such as inspect mode, gradient exports, Lottie exports, and AI generation. Library assets on free accounts may be removed if storage limits are exceeded and the account remains inactive for an extended period. Upgrading to a paid plan increases all limits and unlocks additional features.
9. Service Availability and Modifications
AssetSnip is provided on an "as available" basis. We continuously improve the service and may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the service. Scheduled maintenance and updates may temporarily affect availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AssetSnip and Studio1 (STUDI01HQ PRIVATE LIMITED) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. The service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Our total cumulative liability for any claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in activity that harms other users or our infrastructure. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution, will remain in effect.
